I had always thought that being a world traveler would be an exciting, thrilling and wonderful experience; I suppose that would be so if you were able to travel at your leisure,  and schedules and no meetings to conduct.  And no tight budget you had to live within.  So, I guess I am a world traveler.  However, I have developed some strategies to live within my budget by using websites that provide information on low cost accommodations. Yesterday it was cheap Dubai hotels, so I was able to stay in a large and comfortable room with a view of the beautiful Arabian Sea behind the swaying palm trees beside my room.  That was exciting!

My kids come home from school, the one thing I can count on? They are hungry! The old way around my house was for them to paw through the cupboards in search of things like chips or crackers to stuff into their starving faces. The new way we have, the improved way we do things now? Smoothies. I make sure to have all the healthy ingredients in the freezer and fridge. Frozen fruits, juices and some protein powders go into the smoothie maker, the kids love to choose their own combinations and the frosty drinks are filling as well as healthful.

With the economy in the shape it’s in, many people have lost their jobs and don’t have any idea what to do to pay the bills.  For many people, going back to school is a viable option to consider.  There are trades that can be learned to provide people with many opportunities for jobs where there openings and job offers.  Dialysis jobs are rewarding in that they provide assistance for hurting people.  The market is filled with jobs that are hard work and require a lot of commitment.  The jobs that require working with people take a lot of commitment.

When I was going through my medical assistant training and certification I tried to focus on the area of pediatrics because I love working with children. It turns out though that in my area it is really hard to find a job in this career field. I have however been able to find a job in another area and the medical assistant requirements are fulfilled by my general training. While I still will look for a job in the pediatrics area, I will be glad to accept any job in a doctor’s office while I wait for an opening in a different office.
