80′s Songs Era End the Decade with Rap
To say that the 80’s era of popular music was diverse, with an incredible divergence in mass approved styles would be an understatement. One of the most popular forms of music today, is of course, Rap. What many people don’t know though is that Rap was actually first introduced on a national level along side all the current popular 80’s songs in the latter part of that decade.
Yes, Rap has enjoyed mass appeal for at least twenty years. That would have to make it one of the longest mainstream music styles in history. The funny thing is, Rap popularity has no end in sight, even though it’s roots are in the 80′s songs era. Maybe there will be a new upcoming evolution of Rap to guide it into another decade or two of mass appeal, or just maybe, it doesn’t need to be fixed.
