I have always had a desire to sing, though singing lead in front of a lot of people scares me to death! I was walking yesterday in a downtown strip mall and saw a little advertisement, how to learn backup vocals. I thought this is it, this is my chance to do what I always wanted to do! I would be behind someone and not in the spotlight, which to me sounded great! I made an appointment with the trainer and we got started right away. She taught me about harmonizing and how important the backup singers really are to a band or individual singer. Without them, the main singer could not be as successful.
