An instrument cluster is one of things about your car that you least expect to have problems are become worn out. People typically would think brakes, alternator, battery and other similar things will go out and they expect to replace them from time to time. However, the instrument cluster is not on the list from car owners as one of those things that is expected to go out.So, when that does happen to you there are several options that you can consider. First, you can certainly go to your auto mechanic shop and have them replace it for you. This is  the easiest way to take care of the problem, but it certainly is not the cheapest solution. Another option is to buy a new cluster and install it yourself. An even cheaper way to get this done is to find a used instrument cluster and then install that yourself. Of course, this will all depend on your ability to do that. You should not attempt it if you have no concept or idea how to get that done.
