Sometimes it’s hard to remember that there was a time when I would rush home from work, then go back out again to buy a last minute gift or items my children needed. 

Thanks to e-commerce, I rarely rush anywhere and can order almost anything I need online.  I buy everything from school supplies to birthday and Christmas gifts online.

A few years ago I developed the habit of making a list of gift-giving occasions.  Every January I jot down the person’s name, the date, and the gift I will get them.  I go online, comparison shop, and purchase each gift a few weeks before the occasion.  In most cases they arrive gift wrapped, and I might even have them delivered.  E-commerce had definitely made my life easier!
