There was a time when I wasn’t able to meet my financial obligations, and there was nothing I could do about it. After working hard for years, I’d established excellent credit and everything seemed wonderful. Then a bad driver hit my car and actually sued me.  In the aftermath of the accident I found myself falling behind in payments while facing  the possibility of endless legal issues.  I decided to talk to an attorney who suggested filing personal bankruptcy, which would resolve several of my problems, all at once. I followed his advice and, ten years later, had perfect credit  again.  For me, it was the only solution.
