You hear it all the time. Your core is very important for lots of day to day functions. From bending down to pick up something you dropped to carrying the groceries into your home. Whatever it is you’re doing, you can be sure that your core is being activated. That’s why core strengthening exercises are so important. Even in old age. Because by working out your core, it gets stronger and functions better. What’s more, you prevent pulling your back and end up with better posture. Ever since I started working on my abs and lower back (my core) I’ve felt much better overall.
