The nurse prescribing courses are designed with the purpose of preparing the midwives, nurses and health visitors to prescribe from the Nurses Prescribers Formulary either as Supplementary or independent prescribers. If you have a degree in nurse prescribing or in Nurse Prescribing Distance Learning, you will be able to apply to the Nursing and Midwifery Council and then you will be recognized as Independent and Supplementary Nurse Prescriber. Pursuing this course in a distance learning basis will facilitate you more.
