My first trip to France was when I was at school. We travelled down through Germany, stopping at Bottrop which is twinned with Blackpool in the UK. After a brief stay we continued on and made our way to Paris. The Eiffel tower was an amazing day out as you could really see for miles from the top of it. I remeber not being able to stay up there for very long as I started to feel a bit sick! We was also forced to learn how to speak French, well all the basic words anyway. I still remeber some of them French phrases today!
