Established way back in 1872, Yellowstone in Wyoming is the oldest park in the United States National Park system and attracts some three million visitors every year, many of whom come to enjoy some great Yellowstone hiking trails. Yellowstone has it all from magnificent forests, grizzly bears, herds of buffalo, lakes and some wonderful trout streams. More than this though, it also has more than 300 geysers, including the world famous Old Faithful which erupts to a somewhat irregular timetable about every 30 to 120 minutes and is a fabulous sight as it shoots its plume of water some two stories into the air. If you love hiking, then you will have a great time at Yellowstone.
