My wife and I have been saving money for a long time for a major landscaping project we have in mind.  We want to do as much of the work ourselves as possible for two reasons.  The main reason is to save money and the other one is to get the satisfaction that will come with completing this job.  I think it would be a good idea to find an easy to use punch design software program to plan the project.  We are planning on adding a deck, water feature, and an outdoor kitchen to the backyard.  We are not sure what we will do in the front of the house, but it definitely needs some curb appeal.
